Crossways: Crossways is a two-year, 60-unit course that leads people through the biblical narrative and its message from Genesis to Revelation. (Forty units focus on the Old Testament, twenty units on the New Testament.) The more people dig into the biblical narrative, the more God’s message emerges and provides meaning for life and sure hope in relation to the life to come.
Crossways leads people through the Bible; it does not lecture them through it. It takes people on a guided tour through its “big story” and teachings, and invites them to discern and discuss its message. To facilitate this process, Crossways makes use of dozens of full-color teaching illustrations that help people focus on the Bible’s message, fix it in their minds, apply it to their daily life, and share it with others.
Crossways is taught by Dwight Cruikshank on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. (classes switch to Tuesday evenings during Lent), who has taken the course twice and also received special training as a Crossways teacher. For more information or to sign-up, please contact Dwight at 662-2172/dcruikshank@wi.rr.com.
