The Growing to Share team would also like to update you at the close of the 1^st year of the Capital Campaign drive which began May 6, 2007, following our purchase of the 4 lots next door at 201 Main (with house and barn).

Total 3-year commitments (114 pledges of 240 units): $353,502

Pledged up through June 30, 08: $202,034

Received through the 1^st 14 months (June 30, 08): $165,487

After 14 months (of 36 month drive or 39% of the way), we have received 47% of total!

Those members who could not pledge in 2007 for the growing to share capital campaign and new members who have joined since May, 07 have contributed $15,500.

With these gifts, we have reduced the mortgage already by $100,000

which resulted in interest savings of $31,000 on our 5-year loan.

Our current balance of the Mission Investment loan is $368,000, while also funding the church’s Visioning Fund of $17,500.

Our monthly loan payment is $3655. We receive $925/month rent from Envirocon (2^nd floor) and United Unitarian Universalist church (1^st floor kitchen space) and also donate office space to Wisconsin Lutheran Social Services.
