WORSHIP & MUSIC TEAM supports and maintains the ministry of the church through planning of the Worship service and Holy Communion. It oversees the music programs, Praise Team, altar guild, ushers, greeters, holiday celebrations, and in general the entire worship atmosphere.

Adjunct Groups:
Altar Guild: We prepare, maintain and furnish supplies for the altar. This includes communion supplies, candles, altar cloths, bread, wine, baptism supplies and pew supplies (hymnals, attendance records, offering envelopes).

Assisting Ministers:
They assist the pastor with the worship services. They also work with the acolytes, sing/speak the liturgy, say the prayers and help prepare the altar for communion.
Worship Volunteers:
Coffee Fellowship: make coffee and provide “treats”
Communion Assistants: are people who assist with the serving of communion.
Gift Bearers: are those who bring communion elements forward prior to Holy Communion.
Greeters: are people who welcome those coming to service; open doors, etc.
Readers: are people who read the Lessons of the day from the pulpit and help in serving communion.
Ushers: are people who assist people to be seated. They also provide the liturgy booklets and bulletins during the service.
Home Communion: volunteers taking communion bread and wine to the shut-ins and nursing home residents immediately following the worship service.
Church Decor:Aid in the creation of banners and other décor to enhance the church walls and space.
Musicians:
Festival Choir: If you enjoy singing and the company of others who also like to sing, perhaps this festival choir is for you. Special music is always welcomed. This choir sings once/twice annually only with rehearsal specific to the festival season.
Cantor: They sing the Psalm and lead the congregation in the responses. They may also be called upon to sing/lead the Liturgy.
Special Music: we try to recruit special music (voice, instrument and dance) to work with our musicians. Contact: Church Office 363-8251. This person(s) serve all three services.
The Blended Worship Service (10:45) involves:
Praise Team: These are a variety of instrumentalists and singers providing music for the service in a more contemporary style. This coordinates with the BRANCH worship service. Contact through the church office for further information.
Sound Technician: person with some awareness of sound equipment willing to help set up for rehearsals and do sound checks. This coordinates with the BRANCH worship service weekly. Contact through the church office for further information.
