Mount Olive has been developing followers of Jesus since 1933. We are currently being led by Rev. Suellen Myers, having issued a pastoral call to her in 2003. Pastor Suellen re-introduced the children’s message during the worship service, so our young families with small children have been re-connected to Jesus. Pastor Suellen has succeeded in making the worship service interesting and relevant. So come, see for yourself. Come as you are.
As an ELCA Lutheran Church, our mission statement is “Powered by Jesus to Share God’s Love, We: Welcome All People, Worship God, Pray Together, and Serve the Community.”
Our Guiding Principles are that in response to God’s love for us, we let Jesus’ light shine through us by welcoming all people, making a joyful noise in worship, touching each other’s lives through prayer, and in service to the community.
During this season of Lent (Feb 17 - March 24), come join us on Wednesday's at 6 PM for soup and refreshments. It's a time of Christian fellowship, prior to the 7 PM service. Fresh bread is served with the soup, provided by Subway.
