ADULT EDUCATION: Please join us this Sunday for Adult Education. All are welcome…no experience necessary! The Adult Ed Team will lead discussion of the book of Matthew. Matthew, the first book of the New Testament, was written to prove to a Jewish audience that Jesus is the Messiah. Matthew does not tell Jesus’ story in a chronological sequence, but by topic. Join us as we study the proof that Matthew offers to the Jews. Next Sunday, March 4th, the discussion of the book of Matthew will continue.

MIDWEEK LENTEN SOUP SUPPER SIGN-UP SHEET: In an effort to start the planning process for our Lenten soup suppers, again this year we will be looking for donations from the congregation to supplement the soup suppers with donations of soups, desserts, and beverages. Please sign up on the Bulletin Board in the hallway if you would like to participate with a donation. Set-up is at 5 p.m., and soup, desserts, bread, and beverages need to be here at the church no later than 5:30 p.m. each Wednesday. Extra help for set-up and clean-up is always welcome and appreciated! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office at 363-8251.

CHILDREN’S BOOK COLLECTION: The Service Team is sponsoring a Children’s Book Collection for a local women’s shelter this month. Bring in any books you may have that you no longer want and look for the collection box in the entryway.

HEALING THROUGH GROUP SUPPORT: The Grief Support Group will meet next on Thursday, March 1st, at 6:30 p.m., in the Mount Olive Library.   We are a group that welcomes all who need a healthy place to grieve, share, and recognize that you are not alone in this struggle. We will listen and share. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Delores Dary, Betty Hinkelman, or Debbie at Mount Olive @ 363-8251.

ELEGANT FARMER PIES: Elegant Farmer pies are back by popular demand! Please support our High School mission trip students with the purchase of a delicious pie for your Easter meal. Mission Trip participants will be available to take your orders following each worship service beginning March 4th. Enjoy a great dessert for Easter! Pies and breads will be distributed on Palm Sunday, April 1st, after 10:30 a.m. The cost for one pie or two breads is $15. Thank you!

DON’T MUNCH ALONE BUNCH (DMAB): The DMAB group are now meeting at 12 noon on the second Thursday of every month, unless a holiday should fall on that date. Our group averages about 12 to 14 each month.   We invite any and all to join us for food and fellowship. Hope to see you on March 8th at Zenilli’s. If you have any questions, please contact Glenna Gunderson.

MARCH MOUNT OLIVE HEALTH AND WELLNESS – CEREAL: As our Health & Wellness Team tries to become more active and productive, we are scheduling a monthly service project of encouraging specific donations to the Kitchen Kupboard or our Synod Sponsored Free Clinics in Milwaukee. We ask you to bring your donation on ANY Sunday of March – cereal & deposit them in a designated area in the entryway. THANK YOU!!!

MOUNT OLIVE NOW SERVING MT. MERU COFFEE: The Mt. Meru coffee project is supported by ELCA churches across the country and helps bring economic and social justice to the families of small coffee farmers of the Meru Diocese in Tanzania. The extra income this project brings to coffee farmers' families allows more children to attend school and provides some health care. Buy a bag of coffee (located in the entryway under the TV) -- the Mt. Meru Coffee Project Story is told on the back label of each package. Vicki Hoppe handles the orders. To help fund our Sunday morning coffee fellowship, a basket is located next to the coffee pot for your donations.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: The Wednesday Night Bible Study just completed their study of John’s gospel and will take a break for Lent. After Easter, they will resume on April 11th, and spend five weeks studying John’s letters: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John, concluding on May 9th. New members are welcome. The group meets each Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m.
